Whatever you read or hear, make sure it is under the new bankruptcy laws, not the old. It makes a huge difference in every capacity of bankruptcy law. Go to your local library or book store and start boning up on bankruptcy law before you decide to go ahead. The internet has a lot to learn from too. bankruptcy laws There are forms on the internet you can purchase but you need to make sure they are form your state and are under the new law for bankruptcy. Contact your local Bar Association and ask them where you can get the forms. The contact information is in your phonebook yellow pages under “attorneys”. Also ask them what county or courthouse bankruptcies hold court hearings. It may not be in the town you live in, but it will be nearby. If it is not held in your city, contact them and ask if it wouldn’t be better to get a bankruptcy lawyer in that city….no travel expenses for your bankruptcy lawyer nor will your lawyer hand your case over to a lawyer you haven’t even met.
